Forensic Image Comparison
CSIpix Comparator allows you to open two images side by side for comparison. Each image can then be quickly scaled using the Auto Scaling function and then processed/enhanced as necessary using automated functions such as Auto Levels Adjustment, Text Enhance and Optimized Color to Gray. After scaling, the display scales for the two images can be locked together for synchronized zooming and efficient comparison. With synchronized zooming enabled, when either image is zoomed they both display at the same magnification (i.e. a 1 cm x 1 cm square will remain at equal size in both images at any zoom level). This is especially useful for comparing latent fingerprint images to 10 print card images. Printouts are easily produced at 1:1 scale for visual comparison. A measurement tool provides an effective means of comparing interesting details. Annotations are added easily and side by side views can be saved and printed for exhibits.
